🔴 Keynote: Reflecting on Open Education in North America: Where It’s Been and Where It’s Headed

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This keynote session will feature an open conversation with two U.S.-based OER advocates: Nicole Allen, Director of Open Education at SPARC and Regina Gong, OER & Student Success Librarian at Michigan State University. They will share reflections on their journey and experience in open education, OER advocacy, leadership, mentorship, and community building, including thoughts on what the future holds for open education in North America and beyond. Since many attendees will be joining during their Friday afternoon or evening, all are welcome to bring a beverage or snack to enjoy while participating. The session will seek to foster an engaging and reflective discussion to close out the week.
