We want to engage participants and ourselves in learning and strategizing for ensuring that the harms perpetrated in the platform ecosystem are addressed with special regard to vulnerable communities and geographies that are not usually the focus of the news cycle. We will explore biased narratives by media platforms expounding solidarity, collaboration, while in reality they are breeding grounds for hate and abuse. With special regard to the role of the Open Movement in this process and the technologies we create will surface ideas that help nourish fair internet for all.
