The "Curriculum" has been the principal framework that guides and directs the K-12 education sector. But the closure of schools due to the Covid 19 pandemic and its enforced transition to digital connected environments, unveiled how usefulness and inadequate was a saturated content-driven Curriculum builted for a face-to-face modality. Most countries responded to "prioritize" learning objectives/outcomes to shrink the official Curriculum. Many questions for Curriculum arise: are we coming back to the "old" Curriculum as the pandemic is overcomed? would it be better to keep the "prioritized" curriculum? how about taking the opportunity to revise what and how our children and youth should learn? This session will discuss the present K-12 Curriculum, new curricular approaches and how openness and OER contribute to further curricular development.
